TERMS & CONDITIONS

The following Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made in this website. Please take some time to read them carefully before proceeding with any booking.

1) DEFINITIONS

We”, “our”, “company” means Cabitalism, a company belonging to Paspalakis Bros Business Group, currently under Greek legislation.

Customer” means the person who pays for the booking.

Passengers”, means all the people that are on the booking, named and unnamed.

You”, “your” means the customer and all passengers.

Transport Operator” means the professional operator responsible for performing the transfer.

Voucher” means the written confirmation that the customer receives after a successful booking via email.

Contract” means the booking and all Terms & Conditions.

Website” means www.cabitalism.com .

2) GENERAL TERMS

Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the Greek law.

If the customer does not accept Terms & Conditions it is better not to make any booking with us.

In case there is a certain point that the customer cannot understand, he/she should contact Customer Service before proceeding with any booking.

3) TRANSACTION SAFETY

All payments made using card are processed through the electronic payment platform of SecureTrading and uses TLS 1.2 encryption protocol encryption with 128-bit (Secure Sockets Layer - SSL).

Encryption is a way of coding the information until it reaches its recipient, who will be able to decode it using the appropriate key.

4) BOOKING

By making a booking customer confirms that has read, understood and accepted Terms & Conditions in General.

Taxes, tips and toll expenses are included in the original fee.

Once the customer enters into a contract with us, he/she authorizes us to use his/her personal information to carry out the requested service.

We can erase the customer’s personal data after the service is provided, in case the customer asks so.

Payment is taken at full during the time of booking.

There are no hidden charges and the total price on your voucher is final.

Payment can be made with Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, Diners Club and Discover credit and debit cards.

MasterPass is acepted as well.

5) TRANSPORTATION SERVICE

All customers should show their voucher to the Transport Operator. In case the customer fails to indicate the voucher, this may lead to the transfer service not being provided.

In that case it is the customer’s responsibility to prove that proper care has not been taken if he/she wishes to make a claim against us.

The driver is not obliged to offer guidance or similar services during the transportation and is only responsible for driving the vehicle.

For private hire transportation services from the airport, the driver shall wait a maximum of 60 minutes from the time of flight arrival specified on your voucher.

The waiting time by the driver from any other pick up point shall be restricted to 20 minutes from the time stated on your voucher.

There is no extra charge for waiting time whatsoever.

We cannot guarantee the type of vehicle that will be provided for your transfer.

All vehicles are insured in compliance with local law.

6) TRAVEL INSURANCE

It is strongly recommended that you have travel insurance to cover for any events that happen during your transportation.

In case of a car crash or damage/loss of your baggage, Cabitalism is by all means not to blame for any responsibility or compensation towards the customer. They should be serviced by their travel insurance and the insurance company of the vehicle’s operator.

We are not responsible for the kind of travel insurance you have chosen and our services don’t replace it in any case.

7) BOOKING CANCELLATION/AMENDMENT AND REFUND POLICY

Cancellations and amendments should be applied through our website's homepage in "My Booking" section, or by emailing us at reservations@cabitalism.com

Cancellation requests made more than 48 hours before pick up time of the transfer service will be fully refunded.

For cancellations made less than 48 hours from the scheduled time of the transfer service there will be no refund.

The customer is also not entitled to any refund in case of a non-show without previous cancellation.

If we cannot reach you on your mobile number and you fail to be at the pick-up point at the scheduled time, no refund will be due.

All refunds shall be processed within 5-7 business days.

8) OUR LIABILITY

Cabitalism is responsible for the general behavior of the drivers towards customers.

We are not liable for illnesses or injuries or death which may take place during the service unless it is caused by our negligence.

We are not responsible for loss or damages of the customer’s baggage.

Cabitalism has the obligation to provide English speaking drivers.

Any other language except from English is not obligatory.

9) YOUR RESPONSIBILITY

The customer’s baggage is always his/her responsibility and is carried at his/her own risk.

We are not responsible for damage or loss of fragile or valuable objects such as jewelry, money, cheques or documents. All these items are carried by customer’s responsibility.

Baggage or any other item forgotten or left on board shall be sent to the address given to us by you in the service booking request and shall be charged additionally.

10) RIGHT OF ADMITTANCE / USER CONDUCT

The transportation of any illegal merchandise or substances is not allowed and Cabitalism is declaring that is going to use all legal means against it.

No alcoholic drinks may be carried in the vehicle for the purpose of on-board consumption.

Smoking is not allowed in the vehicles.

Eating inside the vehicle is forbidden.

We have the option not to accept future booking from a customer if he/she is involved in serious or repeated incidents.

We can also refuse to transport passengers whose behavior may be considered dangerous to the driver of the vehicle, to other passengers or to themselves.

We reserve the right to charge the customer’s credit or debit card for any damage incurred to the transfer vehicle or for any items missing when you leave.

If you fail to observe the laws and regulations of the countries you travel, you will have to compensate us for any fine or payment, we might face due to your behavior.

11) DISABLED PASSENGERS

Regarding disabled passengers, they should be able to board the vehicle independently or with the assistance of those in their party.

In case of wheelchairs present (electric or non-electric), they should be foldable as they are considered as normal baggage.

12) BAGGAGE AND EXTRA EQUIPMENT

All buggage should be declared at the time of booking.

Private transfer vehicles have luggage capacity of at least 1 bag or suitcase per passenger seat, based on a maximum combined size of 158 cm [length, width, height] per item.

Each baggage should be of a maximum weight of 20 kg and a hand luggage per passenger with a maximum weight of 5 kg.

The passenger shall be liable for all expenses incurred should additional vehicles be required to transport non declared excess luggage.

Child seats and booster seats are available on certain charge under previous request.

Special bags or whole items such as golf bags or surfing equipment should be declared at the time of booking.

Wheelchairs are considered as luggage and normal luggage allowance must be taken into account.

13) PET ALLOWANCE

We generally avoid to transfer pets unless they travel in their certain container/box appropriate for transportations according with IATA's specifications for transportation by plane.

14) FORCE MAJEURE

We are not liable for paying compensation for delays, cancellations or missed services due to unforeseeable circumstances such as accidents, police checkpoints, acts of terrorism, strikes or extreme weather conditions.

15) CONTACT

It is our obligation to provide the customer with 24-hour contact, valid 7 days/week.

16) COMPLAINTS

Written complaints should be filed within 28 days of the customer's return date.

Any complaints that will be received after 28 days of the customer's return date should not be considered.

Settlement of any disputes that may arise between customer and the company will be subject to Greek jurisdiction and the local courts.



All terms and conditions are subject to change without notice, from time to time in our sole discretion. We will notify you of amendments to these terms and conditions by posting them to this website.
